Curaleaf Nj Is There Vape Cartridge Worth The Money?

low cost Buds: $5-$20 Per Gram average cost Edible Products: $2-$5 Per Dose high cost Tinctures: $15-$20 Per Bottle

At least 18 states and the District of Columbia[1] have enacted legislation that allow for access to medical marijuana, either through home cultivation or through dispensaries, as of August 2012. Medical marijuana is sold in a variety of forms and can be smoked, vaporized, eaten or used in drinks.

Typical costs:

  • The cost of marijuana buds can vary based on quality and the location of the purchase. Typically, a gram of buds can cost $5-$20; an eighth (3.5 grams) costs $20-$60; and an ounce can cost $200-$400.
  • Medical marijuana can be sold in concentrated forms[2] including hash products, oils and waxes made with higher levels of THC. Concentrates are typically more potent than buds. Concentrates are typically sold in half-gram and gram quantities and generally cost $20-$60 per gram.
  • Edible marijuana products can help patients who cannot or prefer not to smoke. Edible products are not restricted to brownies and other baked goods. Pizzas, burritos, and even ice cream recipes can be made with medical marijuana-laced ingredients. Prices for edible products usually are based on dosages, which should be labeled on the package. Expect to pay about $2-$5 per dose for edible medical marijuana items.
  • Tinctures[3] -- concentrated liquid medical marijuana -- are typically sold in one-ounce bottles, capped with a dropper. Tinctures are often used in cooking and benefit patients who prefer to not smoke. Tinctures can also be mixed with alcoholic beverages. Tincture bottles sell for $15-$50, depending on strength.

What should be included:
  • For marijuana buds, expect a dispensary budtender to weigh out a purchase before placing it into a to-go container. Concentrates, tinctures and edibles are generally prepackaged.
Additional costs:
  • A medical marijuana recommendation (it is not a prescription) is required to visit a dispensary. The cost of a recommendation varies by state and municipality, but generally cost $80-$200 for new patients. Annual renewals are required and typically are less expensive than the original recommendation.
  • Smoking paraphernalia is varied. Rolling papers can cost as little as $2, glass pipes start at about $20 and a water pipe can run from $50-$300. Vaporizers can cost $100-$700.
Discounts:
  • Purchasing larger quantities of marijuana products typically reduces the cost per unit.
  • First-time patients may receive complimentary products at many dispensaries.
  • Websites such as Weedmaps[4] and THCfinder.com often display coupons and discounts for local dispensaries.
Shopping for medical marijuana:
  • Weedmaps[5] and THCfinder.com also provide information on locations and menus of legal dispensaries across the country.
  • Medical marijuana labs such as SC Laboratories and CannLabs[6] provide detailed information about the potency of specific strains as well as screening for microbiological and pesticide contaminants.
  • Medical-marijuana dispensaries don't always accept credit cards, although many do. For example, American Express[7] does not allow medical marijuana purchases.

$95 for 850 mg Vape cartridges. $60 for 500 mg. These are screw in vapes you supply your own battery. They also sell disposable 250s for 35. The THC amounts range anywhere from 36 in a 1 to 1 (fairly equal in THC iand cbd-generally way less THC vs a regular Vape)all the way up to 90% or so. Price does not change with Strength

My first concern is the cost of the products. It is ridiculous the amount they charge and the best part is that it keeps going up in price. The second concern that I have is packaging and the waste. Unbelievable amount of packaging waste.

I tried to read up online before purchasing a card, but Utah doesn't know what they are doing. I had to pay a QMP $250 to get a card then pay Utah $15 only to find out there are no dispensaries anywhere near me. Supposedly two to open on Jan 1, 2021 but now that's been put off with no date. I will be having to pay another $100 to the QMP for follow up before I even have a chance to try any product. I live on Utah/Arizona border and the only pharmacies are up by Salt Lake City. Total BULLSHIT. I'm in pain and need help. All Utah can talk about is how bad Opioids are and my pharmacist lectures me when I pick up my RX but they are forcing me to continue taking them by not getting more cannabis pharmacies opened up. They need help as they obviously have no frickin' idea of how to run a cannabis pharmacy business. I'm an old lady with chronic pain for over 20 years. Jumping into the Grand Canyon is looking better and better.

Trying to find MMJ with good THC percentage is very hard. Florida dispensaries like to charge full price for under 15% THC content. The state also limits the amount one can purchase monthly, so the dispensaries push this low THC product to max out patients monthly amount. It's sad that nearly 5 years since the voters approved MMJ, the state still hasn't normalized the medical marijuana industry and allows these legalized cartels to rip off the citizens.

Not sure how they plan on getting rid of black market dealers when they sell dry leaf twice as expensive as black market dealers. My best advice to anyone is just pay for the medical card as a get out of jail free card just for peace of mind and continue to buy from the black market until these clowns realize that they are not doing us a favor. Its all about corporate greed otherwise they would allow us to grow our own for personal use. Its insane to spend 250 for a half ounce of dry leaf, and these growers should feel like crooks because that's what they are

Cartridges $45-$60 each. Then $30 to doctor every 70 days to renew "recommendation." Then $75/yr to the state to keep card current. Doctor visit for card $200. Seriously, what ill or disabled person can afford this? It's tragic, because it's an effective medical treatment that few can afford to pursue.

Type of Medical Marijuana: Pain after 34 surgeries Dispensary:

Was seen by the only medical marijuana doctor in area (Marijuana Doctor)-costs $197 for my 10 minutes (he didn't care about current meds, allergies to meds or medical history)- Recommend 7000mg & entered such into State Database. Got home and sent in another $75 to the State of FL on Sept 15, 2018 (today is Oct 4th-I still have not been approved or received card-so 3+ wks). At Mobile Clinic, spent $105 ($20 each for 4 small jars of gummies 500 mcg CBD; 10 honey sticks for $25). At regular pharmacy I paid $60 for CBD tincture 450, $20 for a chocolate bar and $80 for a bottle of gummies 450 mg. Govt GREED-over $800 and within 2 weeks, ate/use all of the product and still have NO Medical Card at 3 wk mark. I have spent the last 3 weeks online searching for reasonably priced CBD products & came across a chart demonstrating the prices....the prices of medical MJ run approx $200-400 and the SAME things runs $1-2 in Holland. This War on Opioids is misguided. Patient NOT Addict.

Prior to legalization a tin of chocolate covered blueberries was around $20 now with tax and all that it's around $40 even with a card. It's too expensive no more $5 or $10 bags cannibus is rediculously expensive and out of reach for most and it's so sad that greed has become the norm.
